Scientific Writing

 We have been learning how to write a scientific method for an experinment.

Dissolving Experiment

Question:how does it dissolve?

Hypothesis: disintegrating?

Water and salt dissolves

Water and sugar dissolves

             Water and flour doesn't dissolve 

Water and sand doesn't dissolve 


Equipment: sand, cup, sugar, flour, water


Procedure: Add a teaspoon of whichever solid you are testing to a glass of cold water and a glass of hot water, stir and observe the difference.


Results: Water and salt dissolved

Water and sugar dissolved

             Water and flour doesn't dissolve 

Water and sand doesn't dissolve
